The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.
SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed with regards to the high variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure sassa status check at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The services point created for intervention encounters a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
